SERMON SERIES:

Cross Walk Series

March 2021 – April 2021

Matthew 16:24-26, Matthew 21:1-11, Matthew 27:24-66, John 20:11-16

In our “Cross-Walk” series we examine the paradoxical route that leads to life in God through Jesus.  We trace Jesus’ steps and teachings during the “Passion” chapter of his life.  Listen in to see what this means for you and your life.

SERMONS IN THIS SERIES:

Life with a Cross on your Back (The Path of Paradox)

Part 1 of 4

This week, we start our New Four-Part Series and discuss Matthew 16:24-26 and thriving in Christ through opposites. We pray that this message helps to generate healthy dialogue and that it will be a blessing and an encouragement to you.

A Humble Triumph

Part 2 of 4

This is the second message in our new series “Cross Walk” where we discuss Jesus’ humility amidst one of the most triumphal periods of His life (Matthew 21:1-11). We pray that this message helps to generate healthy dialogue and that it will be a blessing and an encouragement to you.

What’s so Good about “Good Friday”? — Jesus as victim & victor

Part 3 of 4

🎧🌟Question: What’s so good about “Good Friday” with so much suffering in the world and why should I care? This is the third video in our “Cross Walk” series and it is a simple yet poignant and timely message (Matthew 27:24-66) and lament worship service along with songs that emphasize Yeshua/Christ as the Ultimate “Victim and Victor” who sympathizes with our human frailty, and weaknesses, and He is intimately acquainted with unjust human suffering and sorrows and laments with us. Jesus doesn’t avoid human suffering. He, in fact, enters our suffering by dying on the cross and rising in victory over the grave.

The Women at the Tomb

Part 4 of 4

This video is the fourth and final sermon in the “Cross Walk” series. This video is about Mary of Magdala’s experience at the Tomb of Jesus on early Sunday morning. She is asked 2 very important questions: Why are you crying and Who are you looking for? These are significant questions for all humanity to answer. Watch live as Pastor James preaches to both a Zoom and live audience on the hope of the resurrection. We pray that this message helps to generate healthy dialogue and that it will be a blessing and an encouragement to you.
